RTU MIREA Showcased at China Education Expo

Beijing hosted China’s largest education exhibition, China Education Expo (CEE), from October 31 to November 1. This year’s event brought together 400 educational organizations from 38 countries and regions worldwide, with 18 countries having set up their national pavilions. RTU MIREA was represented by Deputy First Vice-Rector Irina Solunova.

The Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation organized a joint exhibition of 20 leading Russian universities. At RTU MIREA’s booth, visitors could learn about popular bachelor’s and master’s degree programs, academic exchanges, and internship opportunities. Prospective Chinese students, their parents, and education agency representatives showed strong interest in the unique opportunities RTU MIREA offers.

On October 30, ahead of the expo opening, Irina Solunova participated in events at the Russian Cultural Center in Beijing, where staff members of Russian universities conducted one-on-one consultations, presented educational programs, and showcased the achievements of Russian higher education to Chinese student recruiting agencies, potential applicants, and parents. The center’s professional studio also streamed the interactions online to reach a broader Chinese audience.
