Wuhan Polytechnic Delegation Visits RTU MIREA

On August 19, RTU MIREA held a working meeting with a delegation from Wuhan Polytechnic University (PRC). Both sides signed a cooperation agreement to implement a joint educational program titled “Modern Communication Technologies.”

RTU MIREA was represented by First Vice-Rector Nikolai Ivanovich Prokopov, Deputy First Vice-Rector Irina Sergeevna Solunova, and Head of the International Relations Directorate Aleksandra Evgenyevna Sizemina. The Chinese university delegation was led by Yan Lezhou, Secretary of its Communist Party Committee.

The visit included discussions of cooperation prospects and a tour of RTU MIREA’s megalaboratories where the guests were introduced to Russia’s leading achievements in telecommunications and information technologies.

Both sides expressed confidence that their collaboration would promote academic exchange, research, and the training of highly qualified specialists. The joint educational program “Modern Communication Technologies” will combine the best practices of both universities and create unique educational opportunities in the field of high-tech.
